Snish*

Have you herd of Snish? Maybe not, but you may have recognized the lead singer? Yup that's the extremely hot Josh Beech from Model1 Management. Josh has just recently appeared on the cover oVogue Hommes International looking very sexy may i add. Any way so i have been wanting to do a post on Josh for some time know and with his appearance on the up and coming Vogue.HI i thought this would be a good time. So i did some research and found out he is the front man(lead singer) for a band called "Snish" and guess what the are awesome, his vocals remind me of Brandon Boyd who is the lead singer of one of my all time favorite bands Incubus. It's not that his voice is a mimic of Brandon's he just has that same nice tone that Brandon has. If you are interested in hearing his music visit the Snish myspace where they give two free downloads.

Apple News

If you are a Apple fan then you were probably anticipating the new Macbook pro’s, we were all hoping for a newly designed upgraded macbook pro. Instead we got the same macbook pro with a new multi touch pad and new Penryn chips, (which is nice and all) but you see apple hasn't upgraded the macbook pro design for more then two years, and with the new macbook air we were hoping to see the macbook pro get some sexy new makeover.

Oh and if you were watching american idol last night you probably seen the new iPod Touch commercial, which is awesome by the way, i think apple has the best marketing and advertising people ever i always enjoy watching thier commercials, and by the third time i see one i now the words to the song witch is good for new artist.

The Sartoralist

I really love this blog, it shows style and fashion in it's rawest form. On the streets of Paris, New York, and other great city's around the world. The models are the people just continuing on with their every day life, and in the process they 're inspiring designers to do new things and come up with more unique fashion.

Beautiful editorial work by an emerging Canadian photographer Mckenzie James, I Love his work.

hot style

Most people find old radiators as a eyesore, not me i find them retro, a real throw back. They can be a great pice for  an eclectic room. Well designer “Byung-seok You” has given the old school radiator a new job keeping your coffee and snakes warm during those cold winter mornings. The Natural Wave is a ceramic plate that heats up over your radiator keeping you goodies nice throughout the morning.

A new twist on a classic. It’s not a Post-it but a Pock-it, three of the four side of the paper are sticky creating a little pocket for holding say 10 bucks for lunch, a house key to lock up, or what ever else you can think up. I think it’s a cool idea not revolutionary but useful.

there's something in the air!

MacBook Air,
It's here! The much talked about MacBook Air is here and thinner then ever. The Apple website likes to call it an "Thinnovation", I would have to agree, as it is  the thinnest laptop in the world. And in the category of style i would name it the hottest laptop to date, coming in at 0.16-0.76 inches think, with a 13.3 inch screen, it's just awesome(For more on the new MacBook Air visit the Apple website, also check out the price). Just to let you know i am in love with this laptop, but I'm shore there will be allot of tech. people unsatisfied with this thinnovation, as with any new product there will always be something missing or something that should have been changed.

Oh and here is a always popular Apple ad.

tech of 08

With a new year comes new technology, and I'm loving every bit of it. The new line of tech stuff is awesome, and with CES (Consumer Electronic Show) recently starting, here are some of my favorite tech toys of the new year.

Televisions

thin is definitely in this year, at lest in the television industry. Pioneer 9-mm Kuro plasma concept took the cake, this thing is just friggin beautiful. And other names like LG,JVC,Hatachi, and Sharp are “throwing up” TV’s ranging from .75-inch’s to 1.7-inch’s.

Dual Players

-Hybrid players are the way to go, as the battle of Blu Ray & HD DVD wages on you don't want your HD movies to be limited if some one like lets say Warner Brothers goes strictly Blu Ray. And with Samsungs new BP-U5500 you will not be limited. It’s also not bad that its a beautiful Player.

Mp3 Players

- Mp3 players are starving them selfs even more. iRivers new Aplayer is credit card thin,  this Mp3 player also has an FM tuner and a built in microphone. I don’t know the price or when we will see it on shelves but i do know it will come in three storage sizes 2,4,and 8GB. this thing is definitely the hottest basic Mp3 player around.

apple/microsoft concepts

Adam Benton is an award wining illustrator living in the UK, and his work has been featured in a number of great art publications. Adam has made some of my favorite concept deigns, For example his design for the Zune 2 looks better then the Zune 2. He slimed down the Zune, and gave it a purl cove and a sleek look.

I recently ran into a concept he made of a Apple based camera called iEye, first of all great name, second that thing is beautiful. It has a iPone look all brushed aluminum with a chrome ring around the edge, and a awesome touch screen. this camera would allow you to edit photos and movies with a touch of a finger. At the high end of the price rang ($499) you would get 720p HD video, 5.1-megapixel stills, 12GB of flash memory, and a large-capacity lithium-ion battery hardwired inside, and optical zoom at 3x.

For more of adams work visit his site, also check out the recent Apple Tablet deign at Gizmodo.

All in one

Ok Dell’s XPS One is on sale for pre orders, and i am excited to see how it works, and what it looks like in person. The design is very iMac like, withe the shape on the computer matching a LCD monitor, the XPS One has built in speaker that are located on ether side of the A.I.O (All In One) unlike the imac’s hidden speakers which are found on the bottom of the computer. The main thing i wish the iMac had is a built in TV tuner like the new XPS One, the Adobe studio and Blu Ray Option would have been cool too.

In the PC world i this will definitely be the top A.I.O computer, but can it beat the iMac? The design is beautiful but it’s no iMac, i personally think the iMacs simple design beats out any other A.I.O any day of the week. And another thing you get better for your buck with a iMac, getting equally awesome features for less, so although this will be an awesome A.I.O the iMac is still the Mac daddy of A.I.O’s.

So Hot

I have two beautiful pieces for you, one a media platform from Logue Studios and the second a wall mounted desk from Mash Studios. OK will start with the media platform, The N02 is hand crafted and finished in the states, the base is made of strong cast aluminum, wile the platform is made of a solid bamboo material that comes in three finishes. This awesome media platform is simple solid and clean just like i love'um. The price ranges from $1099-$1946.
Now we move on to the lax wall mounted desk. Just like the N02 the lax.w.m.d is simple solid and clean. The desk is covered with a English walnut laminate and the sliding doors are powder coated aluminum. The size is great and it looks great with the wall mounted shelf which is sold separately. This simplistic desk will run you $675.

I just love these two piecies, and the desk would go great with my iMac!
